Dr Yeo was recently invited to make a short video by North West Private hospital to be included in the May 2020 GP Newsletter.
He talks briefly on the recent advances in Foot and Ankle surgery, focusing on arthroscopic surgery, minimally invasive/percutaneous surgery and ankle replacements.
Please enjoy the video.

Many thanks to the RACGP who put on a fantastic educational meeting. It was a pleasure to have the BOSS doctors involved in the education updates for General Practitioners on upper and lower limb examination with special tests, including a chance to practice examinations on each other. Our thanks to both Eleanor (RACGP) and Nadine (St Vincent’s) for their help in organising this.

Further advances in Total Ankle Replacements continue. By using CT scans and 3D printing technology, we are now able to re-create a mould of your ankle arthritis & deformity, and with the use of specific patient-specific cutting & alignment guides, further perfect the technique of total ankle replacements so that this minimizes operating time & complications, correcting your arthritis better to give you better longevity with your ankle replacement.
In future, we should be able to utilise virtual reality training to help us trial our techniques before surgery, ensuring smoother operating techniques and reducing complications.
If you want to chat about your patient-specific total ankle replacement, book an appointment with us today!
