Dr Bill Donnelly M.B.,B.S., B. Med. Sci., F.R.A.C.S. (Orth)

Bill Donnelly is a founding member of Brisbane Orthopaedic Specialist Services. His practice specializes in arthroplasty and reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee.

He was educated in Brisbane, and obtained his medical degree at the University of Queensland in 1986. He completed his orthopaedic training in Brisbane, and became a Fellow of the College of Surgeons in 1995. He then undertook a fellowship in Arthroplasty of the Hip and Knee at the Royal London Hospital in England.

On his return he was the Director of Orthopaedics at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane, until 1998 when he became the part-time director of orthopaedics at the Prince Charles Hospital, Chermside until 2000. He currently has a public appointment as an orthopaedic surgeon at the Prince Charles Hospital.

He deals with all conditions of the hip and knee. Dr Donnelly has a special interest in both primary and revision arthroplasty and arthroscopy of the hip and knee . He is a member of the Arthroplasty Society of Australia.
